I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. It has been a busy one for us, but I guess that is better than being bored. :) We are in the middle of VBS at FBC Taylor and if you have kids going into kindergarten through going into 6th grade feel free to come join us tomorrow and/or Friday starting at 9 am. We'd love to have you. But that is not the real reason for this post...
Crystal was dropping something off at my house the other day and asked to use my restroom. Without going into details, it was necessary that she use the master bath and not the usual guest bathroom. After she left I walked into the bathroom and tried to view it from the lens of a guest rather than the woman who makes the mess. To say the least I was embarrassed. I know I'm not the best housekeeper and it has been an insecurity of mine for a while that I AM working on a little at a time I promise. Anyway, the point is I read this devotional today and it made me think about that story all over again. I wanted to share this with you guys. I hope you read it because it was a blessing to me and I pray it is a blessing to you too.
